Executive Service Corps of Chicago Announces President and CEO – Philip I. Waitzman

The Board of Directors of Executive Service Corps of Chicago is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Waitzman MBA, MPH, MA, LCSW, LMSW, as the President and CEO of the long-standing and historic organization. Having served the broader Chicago metropolitan landscape of community-based organizations since 1978, Executive Service Corps is a proud mission-driven nonprofit consulting organization that purposefully embraces the vision of local nonprofits through leadership and strategic development.
As an experienced nonprofit and association leader who previously served ESC clients as a Coach and Interim CEO, Waitzman brings in-depth knowledge and practice experience ranging from grassroots engagement to executive leadership and beyond.

Waitzman comes to Executive Service Corps of Chicago having served as Executive Director to multiple nonprofit organizations. In his role as Healthcare Group Vice President, Waitzman led the Chicago office of an Association Management Company and dually served several nonprofits as their Executive Director. Waitzman’s background in Higher Education and in Nonprofit executive leadership has spanned two decades. In the coming months, Waitzman intends to serve the needs of mission-driven clients while expanding the reach to nonprofits that need Executive Service Corps services. The long-standing tradition of partnering with nonprofits to better their organization is integral to the Executive Service Corps model.
